On the 30th September 2023, Kent Oktoberfest returned to Mote Park for another instalment of Kent's biggest German bier festival and Big Smoke Brass were delighted to provide the music at this year's event.
Beer, Bratwurst, and Brass: A Perfect Oktoberfest Trio
Every Autumn, Kent Oktoberfest takes over Maidstone for a full day or drinking, eating, singing and dancing in a homage to the famous Oktoberfest Festival held in the bierkellers of Munich and the rest of the world over. With a huge selection of beers and bratwursts as well as an impressive line-ups of live bands and DJs spread across two sessions in the afternoon and evening, this annual party regularly sells out up to a year in advance and the 2023 crowd - most of whom were dressed in traditional lederhosen and dirndls, did not disappoint.
Big Smoke Brass Takes the Stage
Front and centre at both the afternoon and evening sessions, Big Smoke Brass brought the house down with our signature blend of brass-tastic tunes and infectious energy. Decked out in our finest lederhosen, our Oompah Party Band lineup got the crowd on their feet and dancing in no time. From traditional Bavarian drinking songs to chart-topping hits from Robbie Williams, Bon Jovi, and ABBA, we served up a musical feast that left everyone wanting more
